Who we are

Blizzard’s Refrigeration and AC Service was founded by Marion “Bud” Blizzard in 1976. Operating out of the basement for the first several years in Rockdale, MD, Bud then moved the shop to Owings Mills. Their son, Gary, took over in 1991 and built a new shop in Hampstead. At the start of 2025 Storm took the reins as the 3rd generation owner and is currently operating out of Westminster, MD.

We service the greater Baltimore area including the surrounding counties. Our company specializes in servicing commercial “cold side” equipment including walk-in coolers & freezers, ice machines, reach in boxes, glycol systems, and commercial HVAC equipment.

We aim to serve our customers in a timely fashion with integrity. Our pricing is competitive, oftentimes much lower than regional larger companies. With only a few employees personally trained by Storm, you will get to know our technicians and “not have a different guy every service call”.
